Dr. Nalongo Nansamba paid a cultural and heritage visit to Bigo bya Mugenyi, one of Uganda's most important historical and archaeological sites. During the visit, she emphasized the importance of preserving indigenous cultural heritage, promoting traditional knowledge, and educating younger generations about the history of the Bachwezi civilization associated with the site. Bigo bya Mugenyi is recognized as a major archaeological earthworks complex and is included on UNESCO's Tentative World Heritage List
